The Utah CFMA's Annual Social Dinner & 30th Anniversary held on the top deck at Market Street Grill in Cottonwood on November 16th was a resounding success! This was a wonderful event that was enjoyed by all, with twinkling holiday lights and heartwarming ambiance.
Our chapter received an award from National CFMA at the banquet and we were congratulated on our 30th anniversary. One of the Chapter's founding members said a few words about the goals and vision they had when the Chapter started and how pleased he was we were still going strong and including scholarship awards annually in the Chapter. We were happy to announce our two scholarships that were awarded at the event, one a CCIFP candidate award and the other a presentation check from Chapter President Jyll Waters to the Weber State Construction Management program.
The food, which included filet mignon and cedar plank salmon, was delicious and the after-dinner entertainment was fascinating and fun, performed with gusto by Lefty the Magician. The audience was involved and engaged in the magic, which included some fiery and spectacular elements. Overall, everyone enjoyed each other's company, the awards, food, and entertainment. A good time was had by all and we can't wait for you to join us at our next year's event!
