2019 Annual Banquet and Awards Ceremony

Utah CFMA 2019 Annual Banquet & Awards Ceremony

The Utah CFMA's Annual Social Dinner & Awards held on the top deck at Market Street Grill in Cottonwood on November 21st was a delightful event filled with fun, music, good food and company! The evening
was enjoyed by all, with twinkling holiday lights and welcoming ambiance. We were proud to announce our two CCIFP scholarships awarded at the event presented by Chapter President Jyll Waters to Susie Clayson from VanCon and Carson Young from BHI.

The food, which included filet mignon and cedar plank salmon, was delicious and the after-dinner musical entertainment was performed by Emily Bea and Jake Babcock. A good time was had by all and we can't wait for you to join us at next year's event!

Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) has grown into a hub airport with many flights arriving and departing around the same time. Security needs have evolved, and new buildings that meet earthquake safety standards are required. The Utah CFMA Hardhat tour of the Airport Redevelopment Program on October 25th started with lunch in the SLCDA Conference room; Peter Higgins, Chief Operating Officer for the Department of Airports, gave an update on the construction before the tour.
