Erik Dickerson: American Business Bank - Moderator 

Erik has more than 35 years of commercial banking experience. He joined American Business Bank in 2000 and has served in a leadership role at its Orange County Regional Office for the past decade. As Regional Vice President, Erik oversees the region's growth by leading a team of seasoned bankers. 

American Business Bank is a commercial business bank that exclusively serves the middle market business community throughout Southern California.

In addition to his professional responsibilities, Erik currently serves on the Board of Directors for the local chapters of both the American Subcontractors Association and Construction Financial Management Association. Previously, Erik has served on the Board of Directors for both the South Orange County YMCA and Inner-Cty Arts in Los Angeles. 

Erik is a graduate of the University Of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Finance. He is a native of Laguna Beach and currently resides in Laguna Niguel with his wife, Nina and his two children, Dylan and Danielle.

Erika Urbani: R.D. Olson

Vice President/Chief Financial Officer

Erika Urbani leads R.D. Olson’s financial strategy, overseeing all aspects from accounting and reporting to forecasting, budgeting, banking, surety, risk management, and advanced information systems. As a key member of the strategic business planning team, she continuously advocates for industry best practices, leading efforts to enhance efficiency and profitability.

With more than three decades at R.D. Olson, Erika has risen through the ranks and been integral to the company’s growth and success. A recognized leader in the field, she served as the National Chairman of the Construction Financial Management Association and President of its Orange County chapter. Erika has also led seminars and participated in panels on all aspects of financial management within the construction industry. Today, she is committed to mentoring the next generation of financial leaders, ensuring the future of construction finance is in capable hands.

Steve Ruelas: Griffith Company

Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

In 2014 Steve joined Griffith Company as a Job Cost Controller. Within a few years of joining he became the Corporate Controller and ultimately Chief Financial Officer. In his current role Steve is responsible for overseeing the operational accounting, financial management, and treasury functions of the organization.

Prior to joining Griffith Company Steve spent nearly 15 years serving in the role of financial manager for both Mechanical and Electrical construction firms. During that time he sharpened his skills in job cost accounting, joint venture accounting, ERP conversions, process improvements and internal control development. He holds a BA in Economics from the University of California at Los Angeles and an MBA from California State University at Fullerton. Steve has been a member of the Orange County Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) since 2010 and also served as chapter President in 2014/2015.
